For several years this band has been my main platform to balance out two important musical parameters, composition and improvisation.
The name, "Comprovisition" - somewhat hard to grasp at first sight, but making more and more sense when read thoroughly - seemed like the ideal name for the essence and style of this music.
What can be heard on this recording is the result of a long collective search process to bring contrasting units into form and add spontaneity to the pre-planned.
